Overview

We understand that circumstances can change during a design project. This policy explains your options for cancellation and refunds while protecting the work and time invested by our design team.

Project Phases and Refund Eligibility

Phase 1: Project Initiation (Before Work Begins)

  • Timeframe: Within 24 hours of deposit payment
  • Refund: 100% refund of deposit
  • Conditions: No design work has commenced
  • Process: Email cancellation request to info@pixelaura.eporichoy.com

Phase 2: Concept Development

  • Timeframe: After initial concepts are presented
  • Refund: 50% refund of total project cost
  • Conditions: Initial concepts delivered but no revisions completed
  • Deliverables: You retain rights to initial concepts presented

Phase 3: Revision Stage

  • Timeframe: During revision rounds
  • Refund: 25% refund of total project cost
  • Conditions: Significant design work and revisions completed
  • Deliverables: You receive all work completed to date

Phase 4: Final Delivery

  • Timeframe: After final approval and file delivery
  • Refund: No refund available
  • Reason: Project completed and final files delivered
  • Alternative: Additional revisions available for separate fee

Cancellation Procedures

How to Cancel

  1. Send written cancellation request to info@pixelaura.eporichoy.com
  2. Include your project details and reason for cancellation
  3. We will respond within 2 business days with confirmation
  4. Refund processing will begin after confirmation

Required Information

  • Full name and contact information
  • Project name or reference number
  • Date of original payment
  • Reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)

Refund Processing

Timeline

  • Approval: 2-3 business days after cancellation request
  • Processing: 5-7 business days for refund initiation
  • Bank Processing: 3-10 business days depending on your bank
  • Total Time: 10-20 business days for complete refund

Refund Method

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds appear as credits on your statement
  • Bank transfer refunds return to the originating account
  • Alternative methods may be arranged in special circumstances

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following circumstances:

  • Project completed and final files delivered
  • Client requests beyond original project scope
  • Delays caused by client feedback or material provision
  • Change of mind after final approval
  • Violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Projects cancelled due to client misconduct

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be considered:

  • Significant delays caused by PixelAura (beyond agreed timeline)
  • Failure to deliver promised project components
  • Mutual agreement to reduce project scope
  • Technical issues preventing project completion

Partial refunds are evaluated case-by-case and require mutual agreement.

Project Modifications vs. Cancellation

Scope Changes

Before cancelling, consider if your needs can be met by:

  • Reducing project scope to fit budget
  • Extending timeline to accommodate changes
  • Pausing project for future completion
  • Converting to a different service offering

Project Pause Option

  • Projects can be paused for up to 6 months
  • No additional fees for pausing
  • Work resumes where it left off
  • Original pricing and terms remain valid

Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision:

  1. Contact us directly to discuss your concerns
  2. Provide additional context or documentation
  3. We will review your case within 5 business days
  4. Final decisions will be communicated in writing

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) that prevent project completion:

  • Projects may be paused without penalty
  • Refunds calculated based on work completed
  • Alternative arrangements will be discussed
  • Client and PixelAura will work together on fair resolution
